As a product designer, I believe that good design is always rooted in powerful human insights.

To me, design— and any of my creative endeavors— has always been about connecting to and understanding people with experiences unlike my own. Through my experience as a UX researcher and design thinking expertise from Stanford’s Product Design major, I bring a strong curiosity about the user and investigative mind to my practice of design.

As a student at Stanford's d.school, I used my interdisciplinary background in mechanical engineering, art practice, and psychology to solve design problems in service of human need. In past professional and academic design work, I have connected with Alzheimer’s patients and caregivers, craftspeople, and environmentalists to create meaningful product experiences.

You can typically find me carefully curating a music playlist, playing taiko with San Jose Taiko, or perfecting my sourdough baking process.
